In 2026, the prestigious Imperial Hotel will reopen as the flagship 4* Deluxe Hotel of ILH.

We are looking for a Head of IT

We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Head of Information Technology to lead the IT operations for our group, overseeing the hotels located in Central London. The ideal candidate will supervise an on-site IT team, manage external support, and vendors.

As part of the Senior Management team, you will oversee all IT operations, including policies, strategies, infrastructure, and technology alignment with business goals. Your role will also involve developing, implementing, and securing the company's information and communication systems to support the overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an IT strategy in line with the company's objectives.
  • Act as a technology advisor and expert, ensuring the organization follows best practices and adopts emerging trends.
  • Lead and mentor the on-site IT team, ensuring their efficiency and productivity.
  • Recruit, train, and nurture IT staff to enhance their skills.
  • Collaborate with vendors, manage outsourced services, and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Oversee IT systems across all properties, including network infrastructure, telecommunications, and business applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • IT management or security certifications preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in IT operations.
  • Knowledge of Hospitality PMS & POS Systems, Cyber Essential Plus, and IT best practices.
  • Minimum 8 years of IT experience, including team management and project oversight.
  • Familiarity with IT operations and security in the hospitality industry.
  • Experience with ITIL or other service management frameworks beneficial.
