Senior VFX / CGI Pipeline Developer

About Us & The Role:

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled developer with a talent for improving workflows?

Our client is a leading trailblazer in the creative content sector, renowned for pushing limits and delivering exceptional projects. They are seeking a Senior CGI/VFX Pipeline Developer to join their expanding team in London.

You will have a crucial part in creating and enhancing state-of-the-art tools and processes to empower their artists across photography, animation, and interactive content.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, create, and maintain production pipeline tools using a mix of established and custom solutions.
  • Render management / render coordination
  • Technical and process assistance for Photography, Animation, and Interactive content operations, as well as CGI model production needs
  • Promote efficiency by streamlining workflows and pinpointing areas for enhancement.
  • Offer technical and process assistance for various creative fields.
  • Collaborate with the Pipeline Lead and artists to convert requirements into efficient tools.
  • Cultivate a cooperative atmosphere through transparent communication and knowledge exchange.
  • Keep updated with the latest technologies and trends in CGI production.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a CGI/VFX pipeline developer.
  • Demonstrated history of creating and integrating production-ready tools.
  • Proficient coding abilities in Python, MaxScript, and SQL.
  • Thorough comprehension of CGI production pipelines for photography, animation, and interactive content.
  • Proficiency with popular CGI applications (3DS Max, Rhino 3D, Pixyz).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (GIT) and CI/CD procedures (Azure Devops preferred).

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with AI/ML technologies, REZ package management, and Unreal Engine.
  • Knowledge of OEM CAD and intricate data collections.
  • Background in the automotive sector.
