Senior VFX / CGI Pipeline Developer
About Us & The Role:
Are you a passionate and experienced developer with a knack for streamlining workflows?
My client is a leading innovator in the creative content industry, known for pushing boundaries and delivering exceptional projects. They're searching for a Senior CGI/VFX Pipeline Develope r to join their growing team in London.
You'll play a pivotal role in crafting and maintaining cutting-edge tools and processes to empower their artists across stills, animation, and interactive content.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain production pipeline tools using a blend of established and custom solutions.
- Render management / render wrangling
- Technical and process support for Stills, Animation and Interactive content workstreams, along with CGI model production requirements
- Champion efficiency by optimizing workflows and identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide technical and process support for various creative disciplines.
- Partner with the Pipeline Lead and artists to translate requirements into effective tools.
- Foster a collaborative environment through open communication and knowledge sharing.
- Stay ahead of the curve by exploring emerging technologies and trends in CGI production.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a CGI/VFX pipeline developer.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing production-ready tools.
- Strong coding skills in Python , MaxScript, and SQL.
- In-depth understanding of CGI production pipelines for stills, animation, and interactive content.
- Experience with popular CGI software (3DS Max, Rhino 3D, Pixyz ).
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite ( Photoshop, Illustrator ).
- Knowledge of version control systems ( GIT ) and CI/CD processes ( Azure Devops preferred).
Bonus Points:
- Experience with AI/ML technologies, REZ package management, and Unreal Engine.
- Familiarity with OEM CAD and complex data sets.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
The agency is offering a competitive salary and operate a hybrid working pattern, with flexible solutions offered. The studio is based in London and desire a couple of in-person days per month.
