ABOUT US
We have gone from supporting a handful of people in the coastal town of Worthing to providing a range of services to over 1,700 people in Worthing, Adur, Littlehampton, Horsham and Mid Sussex.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a new role with the organisation and provides an exciting opportunity for the applicant to help shape Community Development within our hubs.
The Community Connector works across both of Turning Tides' Community Hubs with a focus to connect and embed our hubs and clients within the local community and to bring key services from the local community into our community hubs.
The role involves building integrated networks and trusted working relationships with voluntary and statutory organisations, health providers, businesses, and community stakeholders within the locality.
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and volunteers to develop new volunteering roles and opportunities to support the organisation to end local homelessness.
