Junior Clinical Fellow in Ophthalmology

This post is at the level of ST1 or above, the post is intended for an individual committed to ophthalmology as a career but prior ophthalmic experience is not essential.
This post is parallel to the specialist trainee rotation.
It is primarily for service and is not formally recognised for training, however the opportunity to fulfil competencies towards CCT will be available.
The post will include commitments to the general and emergency ophthalmology services and to one or two sub-specialty services as dictated by gaps in trainee rotations.
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
