Job Introduction:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Order to Cash Team within our finance shared service centre in our friendly and busy Worksop Office.

The challenging role is to act as a Team Leader in our Credit Control Team. You will have targets and objectives relating to the daily work allocation, resource planning, and the output of the Accounts Receivable Collection Team, ensuring that G4S outstanding debt is minimised. This is an office-based role, 40 hours per week, and the working hours are 8:30am - 5pm.

We are looking for a driven and resilient individual who has experience in managing people in order to support, encourage and motivate the team to deliver a high-quality service. There is a strong focus on cash collection in our business and you will be key to ensuring that we meet those demanding expectations.

Role Responsibility:

The key responsibilities are:

  • Line management of the team. Responsibilities to include 121's, performance management, and any disciplinaries
  • Allocation of work and resource planning
  • Driving performance and ensuring that the team has clear objectives, high levels of communication and feedback
  • Ensure robust training and succession plans are in place to develop, engage and retain team members
  • Monitoring of daily targets and outputs
  • Lead by example to promote a culture of efficiency and collaborative working
  • Ensure the reporting suite PayDrive Analytics is effectively updated and maintained, with all data feeds efficiently managed whilst providing an ongoing review for any other reporting for FSSC KPIs
  • Calculate the Monthly Cash Collection forecasting based on account and ledger knowledge
  • Liaise and work with the relevant finance and management staff to ensure effective debt management
  • Ensure all processes, policies, and procedures are adhered to and rectify any nonconformances as appropriate
  • Drive debt calls with Finance Business Partners and Directors monthly to ensure risk is flagged and escalated
  • Deliver induction and ongoing training for all staff in the Credit Control team
  • Promote equality, diversity and inclusion in the team and lead in a way that is consistent with G4S Values
The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for the Credit Control Team Leader role will have the following:

  • Strong IT skills
  • Be numerate and literate
  • An understanding of SAP, Navision, Great Plains, and/or other Finance systems
  • An understanding of finance processes, accounting systems, and how they interact with AR
  • Management experience including the development and coaching of teams
  • Experience in dealing with the management of debt, complex credit portfolios and working in a busy customer service/finance environment
  • Be driven and a team player with the ability to motivate yourself and others
  • Resilience and ability to be calm and focused under pressure

The successful candidate will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. These documents may include your passport, driver's license, utility bill (dated in the last 3 months), HMRC letter, an original bank statement, an original payslip, your birth certificate, or a valid share code.

Please note, this role does not qualify for a visa under the current Government guidelines therefore to be considered for this role you must already have the right to work in the UK. Relocation costs will not be granted. You must live within reasonable commuting distance of the site.
