About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in assisting our growing team in managing cash flow and ensuring timely payments from customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chase outstanding cash on a ledger and communicate with customers to resolve payment issues
  • Build relationships with customers through phone calls and negotiations to obtain payments
  • Post cash payments on Sage and a bespoke internal system
  • Perform other financial administrative duties as required

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a large and busy working environment
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Sage is an advantage, but full training will be provided
