Absolute Solar & Wind, Part of the RSK Group is currently searching for a Project Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis at their head office in Loch Lomond.

ASAW specializes in renewable energy, assisting businesses in implementing modern low carbon technologies such as solar, wind, biomass, and energy efficiency solutions. They collaborate with global designers and manufacturers to ensure access to cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements:

  • Must have a degree in Electrical or Civil engineering.
  • Prior experience as a Project Manager/Engineer.
  • Familiarity with PV solar systems.
  • Demonstrated HSE leadership skills.
  • Thorough understanding of CDM regulations for construction projects.
  • Proficiency in Project Risk Management and Control.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, including contracts and subcontracts.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license and own transport is essential.
  • CSCS / SSSTS / SMSTS certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee a range of projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, meeting customer expectations, and reflecting Absolute's core values (Trust – Quality – Contemporary Technology).
  • Manage project Health & Safety, ensuring compliance with RAMS and H&S standards.
  • Effectively manage project finances, including accurate billing, project cash flow, and client retentions.
  • Review and reconcile project Cost To Complete (CTC) and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Review and approve contract terms with customers and suppliers to mitigate risks.
  • Accurately allocate Project Manager time to various projects.
  • Conduct Post Implementation Reviews (PIR) for projects upon completion to identify key learnings for future projects.
