PMO Lead

**Main Purpose of Role**:

- The PMO Lead will manage the Programme and Project delivery team and will be involved in a global Business and IT change programme. The PMO Lead will be responsible for defining and leading PMO activities to support the overall change and project activities providing the governance, visibility and support required to deliver a successful programme.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Programme Delivery - to agreed time cost and quality**
- Compliant PM and PMO functions with up to date data and consistent processes in place for tracking, reporting and controls
- Deliver on Company priority programmes including Finance, HR and PMS
- Provide ongoing insights to support improvements, governance and decision making
- Provide fit for purpose specialist approaches recognised by the business as fit for purpose

**2. Project Management Framework**
- Establish Group-wide project visibility including status and value
- Develop and Rollout Group IT Project Delivery Methodology
- Develop and Own Demand Management process for Group IT
- Extend and equip team to support Group Programme Framework beyond IT

**3. Team Development**
- Structure PPD to reflect specialisms and priorities - create easily-accessible community(ies) of practice
- Develop / hire talent to provide development and depth of leadership, minimise dependence on contingent workers
- Improve working practices between Build and Run teams starting with Service Transition process
- Develop Learning paths for team development of professional / IVCE skills, tools and processes
- Establish development paths for team members

**What we look for in you**:

- Previous PMO and Project Experience
- Demonstrable understanding of PMO Governance and functions
- Excellent knowledge of project planning, reporting, resourcing and budgeting
- Experience in building and sustaining effective and trusted relationships
- Good written and communication skills
- Strong leadership
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience following and embedding best practice methodologies: Ideally you will be a PRINCE2 Practitioner
