Key Objectives of the RolenDirect responsibility for the High Wycombe plant and facilities, delivering highest operational standards, hygiene, fabrication, aesthetics, engineering & maintenance.
Develop and maintain a continuous improvement culture, driving operational efficiencies, identify and implement improvements to working practices to improve efficiency, performance and reliability.
Ensure all products are manufactured to the required product safety andnquality standards, safely and on time.
With a direct and matrix team manage all day to day matters relating to the plant and facilities (production, warehouse, engineering, sample bay and health and safety).
ProductionnEnsure all products are manufactured to the required product safety and quality standards, safely and on time.nEnsure all factory operatives are thoroughly trained to ensure competence in compounding, blending, drying and warehouse operations, product safety and Quality Assurance procedures.nEnsure that all procedures, tasks etc.
are always carried out safely.nEnsure factories (production and warehouse) are kept immaculate.nEnsure all plant is maintained and safe for purpose.nDeliver production schedules in line with the capacity and Working Capital constraints.nEnsure that all procedures are carried out safely in compliance with company Health and Safety policies.nEnsure that the Quality Assurance procedures are strictly adhered to, and that a culture of "quality first" pervades production.
Liaise with Technical and Quality Control on any technical issues concerning finished products.nMember of the HACCP team as the Production/Engineering representative.nLead and develop the process engineering function.nLead and develop the sample by function.
Health & SafetynWorking with the HSE Manager to ensure compliance with the HSE and that the Company Health & Safety policy is adhered to and that the business culture is designed to minimise risk to the lowest achievable level.nEnsure full compliance with HSE regulations.nDrive the H&S culture change.nEnsure Company Health & Safety policy is adhered to and that the business culture is designed to minimise risk to the lowest achievable level.nCarry out all operations safely and without risk to any staff member, contractor or visitor, observing company and departmental safety rules at all times.
Plant & FacilitiesnManage the smooth running of the company facilities.nManage the engineering function.nEnsure building is structurally and aesthetically sound and safe for purpose.nEnsure building and contents are secure at all times.nEnsure premises are kept clean and cleaners adequately trained.nEnsure the UK facilities comply with legislation.nSupport 5-year plan for plant & facilities driven by the business strategy including capital projects necessary to deliver.nDevelop & deliver the Engineering strategy.
GeneralnOversee development and coaching of team members, developing individual objectives for direct reports ensuring alignment to business plans.nManage key infrastructure projects.nOversee the development and execution of capital expenditure projects.nRecruit, train and develop your staff, and to manage their performance through the company appraisal process.
