Job Title: Audit Manager at a Top Accountancy Firm in Bristol

Our client, a thriving top 50 Bristol based Accountancy, is seeking an Audit Manager to join their expanding team.

Reporting directly to a Partner, this role will involve a mix of audit and non-audit tasks such as management accounting, corporate tax, and private client work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio as the primary contact for clients with turnovers up to £200m
  • Leading the audit process from planning to completion and reviewing team's work
  • Reviewing corporation tax returns and capital allowances computations
  • Supporting in training junior staff and offering feedback
  • Assisting in bespoke assignments like cash flow forecasts or due diligence reports

About You:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified with 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Proven audit background within an accountancy practice
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Client liaison expertise across various sectors
  • Team player with analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Familiar with current auditing and accounting issues and standards
  • Good tax knowledge, especially in corporation tax
  • Computer literate with experience in CCH and Proaudit
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines

This role offers a hybrid working model combining office and remote work.
