About the Role

Hargreaves Lansdown is seeking an experienced IT Audit Manager to join our IT Audit Team. As an IT Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end IT internal audit engagements, ensuring all audit work is performed to a high standard, and managing relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead IT internal audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships across the business.
  • Help Hargreaves Lansdown achieve its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management and control processes.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to consider how data can be mined for data-led insights and effective audit testing.
  • Work on one's own initiative or lead small teams that may include third-party auditors.
  • Confidently feed into the audit planning process using a strategic standpoint, built on experience.
  • Mentor and coach others in the team.
  • Always seek to consider improvements in methodology and general ways of working, including maintenance of an effective QA framework.
About You
  • You will ideally be CISA qualified or working towards your CISA qualification, and/or other relevant qualifications such as CRISC/CISSP, displaying a growth mindset.
  • You will have experience in auditing technical Security and Resilience IT controls across the technology stack, for example, at application and infrastructure layers.
  • You will have experience in auditing transformation/change, in particular, IT change.
  • You will have a working knowledge of data analytics.
  • You will have proven delivery of independently managing end-to-end audits with high-quality reporting.
  • You will have strong analytical/communication and influencing skills.
  • You will have strong problem-solving skills.
  • You will have a high level of attention to detail.
  • Internal IT audit experience within financial services is preferred.
Interview Process

There will be a two-stage interview process for this role, including a task. The second stage interview will be face-to-face in our Bristol office.

Working Schedule

This role is based in Bristol head office and is a permanent, full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you to work from home and come into the office two days a week.
