Denholm are delighted to be working with our financial services client on a great opportunity for a Project Manager with experience within the Data & MI space on a contract basis as part of an exciting enterprise transformation programme.

This is a remote working role which will require 1-2 per month on client site.

Accountabilities:

  • In this role the Project Manager will manage the delivery of the Data and MI platform, the technical delivery element of the overall Data Management programme for the business. The key ask is for someone who has good experience of implementing Azure andits components as they relate to Data and MI.
  • You will work with the existing solution design, engaging with key stakeholders, such as Lead Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Info Sec, and the IT teams who support the delivery and management of the solution. You will need to build out the designinto a full plan, ensuring the appropriate resources are engaged and timelines estimated, and then manage to the agreed plan.
  • You will need to understand that much of this delivery will be new technology and new working methods for the business so you will need to be flexible and able to bring people along with the journey. Strong communication skills are essential
  • Experience in implementing data management solutions
  • Proven selfstarter and confident leader, applied in delivery and change management preferably within Financial Services
  • Proven experience of Agile
  • Solid allround technical Project Management delivery experience, with a proven track record in planning and delivering technical projects
  • Proven experience of delivery through the full project life cycle from project initiation through project planning and estimation, financial management, resource utilisation, design, build, testing, implementation, and transition into service.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels in an organisation
  • Strong management and leadership skills to lead and manage teams of specialist resources and helping to support the embedding of new ways of working
  • Proven experience in the development and management of the project plan to ensure the project is delivered within the agreed time frame
  • Proven experience of identification and alignment of resources to be able to deliver the project within agreed time frame
  • Strong risk management
  • Strong focus on project budget management

Desirable experience

  • Ideally we would like someone who has experience of leading the implementation of an Azure platform
  • Experience across Office 365, Citrix and Cloud technology
