he Role
Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Lead Operative to work in our cooking department at our Grimsby site. In Grimsby, we manufacture fresh soups for our New Covent Garden brand and for private label.


The role of the Lead Operative is to support the Team Leader in the management of all aspects and actively assist in delivering all KPIs.

To assume the responsibility and accountability of the Team Leader role during absence/holiday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage operators in their daytoday tasks, ensuring effective use of labour
  • Ensure that all operators are at and leave work stations on time
  • Fully support and drive through continuous improvement on health & safety
  • Encourage effective communication and crossfunctional working to deliver an efficient operation

What you will need for the role / what it will take

  • 4 GCSE above C
  • IT Literate
  • Good communication
  • Experience within a FMCG setting
