The company is a top design and build contractor in their industry, handling a range of projects throughout the UK.
Their main office is in Berkshire, but they work on various projects across the country. Candidates interested in a long-term commitment must be open to traveling to different project locations.
- Establishing and nurturing client relationships
- Sending contract notices in line with the contract and company policy
Responsibilities include:
- Managing subcontractors' applications, variations, payments, and final accounts
- Communicating regularly with the site team, subcontractors, and Customers' representatives
- Compiling Monthly CVR Reports, commercial risk reports, and cost forecasts
- Developing work systems within the QS department
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
- 5-10 years of relevant QS construction experience, including JCT management
- Knowledge of construction planning and execution
- Productive, adaptable, and keen on learning
- Open to national and international travel
