About the role:


Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Demand & Sales Planning will be instrumental as a strategic differentiator in support of Dyson's growth and customer experience.

This is a new role to drive unbiased demand led planning, bringing the outside in, to ensure high quality and accuracy in the Global Revenue organization's planning efforts.


  • Develop and coordinate demand planning and budgeting processes used within the organization
  • Build the unbiased bottomup demand forecast based on the validated assumptions collected during the monthly forecasting process
  • Proactively monitor and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the organization's planning efforts
  • Coordinate planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the company
  • Proactively identify opportunities for demand & sales planning process improvement. Work closely with sales management to inspect trade marketing process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Overall lead a culture of continuous improvement in the endtoend planning process
  • Coordinate efforts to achieve our targets, timely identify gaps vs. target if any and ensure proper allocation of resources to maximize profit
  • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of planning reports and other intelligence essential to the Global Revenue and Supply Chain organizations. Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed
  • Implements enabling technologies and/or support deployment of global solutions in the region
