JOB TITLE: MET Technician at a Well-Established Car Bodyshop in West London



Location: Southall / Hayes, West London


Salary: £45k - £65k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits


Working Hours: Full-Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday (45 Hours)

Job Description: As a MET Technician, you will be responsible for dismantling and reassembling damaged vehicles to meet high repair standards. Training will be provided if needed.



  • Responsibilities:
    • Precisely strip and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components.
    • Work on a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, HGVs, and luxury models.
    • Identify additional damage and report supplementary work.
    • Communicate closely with the Parts Department.
    • Document the repair process through reports and photographs.
    • Conduct road tests following BS10125 standards.


  • Requirements:
    • Prior experience as a MET Technician or in a similar role.
    • Experience in the motor industry.
    • Ability to complete tasks within given timeframes.
    • Proficient in written and verbal English.
    • Proven capacity to handle a high workload effectively.
    • Minimum of 3 years of Bodyshop experience preferred.
    • Relevant qualifications such as ATA, IMI, NVQ, or VCQ are advantageous.
    • Reside within 20 miles of the job location.
