MET Technician

Location: Southall / Hayes, West London

Salary: £45k - £65k (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

Full-Time, Permanent, Monday - Friday (45 Hours)

The Client:

Our client is a well-established car Bodyshop, renowned for their exceptional service and quality workmanship in vehicle repairs.

The Role:

Aa a MET Technician, your role involves carefully dismantling and reassembling damaged vehicles to meet exceptional repair standards.

Training will be provided to the relevant candidates, if required.

Responsibilities:

  • Precisely strip and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components.
  • Work across a diverse spectrum of vehicles, including cars, vans, HGVs, and luxury models.
  • Identify and report any additional damage or necessary supplementary work.
  • Maintain close communication with the Parts Department.
  • Document the repair process through photographs and reports.
  • Conduct road tests as needed, adhering to BS10125 standards.

Requirements:

  • Previously worked as a MET Technician or in a similar role.
  • Experience working in the motor industry.
  • Capable of completing tasks according to a job card within the allocated timeframe.
  • Proficiency in English both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of work in a dynamic environment.
