This is an exciting opportunity to work across Nottingham City Council's extensive solar portfolio, including approximately 40 commercial buildings and 3,500 domestic properties across the city with solar PV installations.

The Energy Projects Officer will be responsible for supporting the Energy Projects team in overseeing the performance of Nottingham City Council's domestic and commercial solar assets to maximise the solar production and Feed-in-Tariff revenues that will help to meet the Carbon Management Plan targets to reduce energy consumption, cost and carbon emissions.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to provide technical renewable energy advice and recommendations to support service development proposals.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills to identify anomalous data and discover the reasons driving change
  • Ability to analyse complex data, identify solutions, draw conclusions and communicate the decisions taken
