You will be responsible for the control of all aspects of H&S, staff responsibilities, management of daily orders, completion of paperwork to audit standard.

  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the technical requirements of a food manufacturing site
  • Demonstrate good problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of all spaces are maintained
  • Schedule regular maintenance and cleaning of facilities

Duties:

  • Oversee the production line and ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and maintain production equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Train and supervise line workers to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues or defects
  • Implement and enforce food safety protocols, including HACCP guidelines
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports

Desirable:

  • Strong knowledge of food production processes and equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on machinery
  • Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles and practices
  • Basic math skills calculating production quantities
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and ability to implement proper hygiene practices
