Automation Engineer

Our client provides integrated control system solutions for the food and beverage industry.

They specialise in the design and supply of turnkey software, hardware, installation and commission packages, all of which are bespoke and specifically tailored totheir clients' needs.


The Automation Engineer will be based out of our client's Peterborough office and will take responsibility for leading turnkey projects, including developing a solution from concept to execution and with cost and quality responsibilities.

The standards withinthis role are high.

It will be your role to ensure that time-critical projects, both in-house and on-site, are managed and organised in a cost effective and safe manner ensuring complete customer satisfaction.


Key accountabilities will include but will not be limited to the management and implementation of customer orders consisting of design, installation & commissioning; implementing contract management policies and procedures to ensure the profit contributionof contracts is achieved and bettered if possible; cost control and the opportunity to manage a small team on larger projects.


As an experienced automation engineer within Rockwell, Siemens or Wonderware packages, it is likely that you have considerable experience in the hands-on management of projects, ideally within the food and/or beverage sector.

You will be capable of utilisingyour experience to conceptualise, develop and review designs as necessary.

You will also be able to demonstrate where and how you have been involved in delivering complex engineered projects profitably.
