We require House Porters for a privately owned Cleaning/FM business with a family feel and strong people culture.

Bayleaf FM is looking for an enthusiastic, bubbly, and reliable worker to join our fantastic team.

The role would cover the House Porter duties in our Hotel.

Experience is a plus, and we are looking for someone who is flexible with their hours and role and has a great customer service focus with attention to detail.


We pride ourselves on having a clean and safe environment and are looking for team players who are dedicated to this while providing consistently amazing guest service, a commitment to sales and a focus on ensuring a fun environment.


As you will be the face of the hotel and dealing with guests, you need to be able to speak English.

We are looking to fill this role quickly.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance tasks and services throughout the hotel,
  • Pick up trash and empty rubbish bins,
  • Perform light repairs and maintenance such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes,
  • Assist with the cleaning and sanitizing of shared facilities and common spaces,
  • Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes,
  • Perform limited grounds maintenance such as weeding around the hotel, cleaning snow from sidewalks,
  • Report problems to the Facilities Manager or other appropriate staff,
  • Ensure that cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked,
  • Assist reception staff with checking in guests,
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions,
  • Detailoriented and thorough,
  • Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance,
  • Ability to keep the property clean and tidy,
  • Good interpersonal skills with polite and courteous manner toward staff, customers, clients, and visitors to the Hotel.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required,
  • Must pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing,
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 25kg(50 pounds) at a time.

Your hourly pay will be £11.95 based on full time hours (40 hours per week). Off days per week may vary in accordance with the business needs.

Salary:
£11.95 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift as per Rota
  • Monday to Sunday
  • Weekend availability
