Job Overview:


Mitie is looking for security officers who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe shopping environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customers and colleagues.

Working in a Shopping Centre Environment no 2 days are the same.

About Festival Place

Main duties:

  • To deliver industry leading customer service
  • To deter violence, public order or ASB offences
  • To conduct patrols of the Shopping Centre
  • Liaising between CCTV Operators and The Duty Management Team to support the reduction of crime and stock loss for our retailers.
  • Liaise with the store management teams and carrying our regular "Buddy" Store visits to assist with Crime prevention advice, identification of offenders and crime reporting.
  • Work in colaberation with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in the Town Centre
  • To wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
  • To highlight and address any H&S concerns
  • Testing of Live safety systems as required
  • Attending Fire Alarm activations and assisting in evacuations in accordance with the Centres emergency plans.
