My client makes officially branded driveable little cars for luxury high-end motor manufacturers such as Bugatti, Aston Martin and Ferrari. They are looking for a Buyer as this is an integral role within the business and you will be responsible for the timely procurement of consumables and commodities for manufacture of our vehicles and to keep the business running with particular involvement to support production. The successful candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a small close-knit team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Raise Purchase Orders for consumables and commodities
- Raise Purchase Orders for Production and prototype components
- Convert Purchase Requests from iDocuments into SAP B1
- Daily close Liaison with Key Suppliers
- Monitor and manage stock levels of consumables and fasteners
- Work closely with Engineering & Production
Experience Required:
- Experience of ERP Systems
- Engineering and technical knowledge
Desirable Experience:
- Procurement & Buying experience
- Automotive &/or Motorsport experience
- Knowledge of niche Production/ Assembly environments
