Salary:
Starting salary: £25,000 (pro rata) per annum.
Hours:
between hours per week available which can be split over - 5 days.
Position Overview:
As a
Group Accounts Assistant at Gael Force Group, your primary responsibility is to support the Finance team in managing routine transactions associated with Group ledgers and assist with day-to-day tasks.
Additionally, you will take ownership of key processes listed below and address outstanding issues across the Group by liaising with key personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase ledger processing and support.
- Processing AP invoices.
- Liasing with vendors and project managers.
- Reconciliation of vendor statements.
- Review debit balances on vendor ledgers and chase down resolution.
- Investigate AP queries.
- Maintain the accuracy of vendor details.
- Processing personal and company expenses.
- Ensuring processes/procedures are followed or amended to become more efficient and to achieve requirements such as Fraud prevention.
- Supporting AR with office administration during staff leave.
- Assisting the Finance Director and Group Finance Manager with adhoc queries.
Job Requirements:
- Essential:_
- Previous experience in a Finance/Accounts department with good understanding of basic bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent timekeeping.
- Ability to build good working relationships.
- Enthusiasm for identifying and pursuing process improvements.
