Service and Aftermarket Coordinator
Job & Division Summary:
At Industrial Blower Services we have provided air and gas moving solutions to our customers for over 3 decades. We were the UK's largest independent blower specialist company before being acquired by Ingersoll Rand in 2021.
We have ambitions and backing to grow significantly in the next 3 years and we need your help to achieve this.
Responsibilities:
Aftermarket Team - Repair, Service and Hire.
- Be responsible for accurate and timely order processing for our Blower and Vacuum hire fleet.
- Proper and accurate use of Dynamics 365 software with a view to continuously improving the processes in place.
- Purchasing materials that are needed and organising the logistics to and from customers as necessary on orders.
- Prepare relevant quotations ranging from service quotes, service contracts, emergency hire or any other quotations needed to ensure our customers are adequately supported.
- Be responsible for maintaining the service book and hire continuation.
- Planning of service work and ensuring any parts and permits to work are in place.
- Ensure all service reports are properly assessed and any remedial work is quoted to ensure customer uptime is maintained.
Key Competencies:
- Well organised and good eye for attention to detail.
- Numerically capable with the ability to calculate correct costs/margins.
- Willing learner and ability to handle urgent situations calmly.
- Experience of working in sales within an engineering environment.
- Customerfocused and driven to provide consistently high service levels.
- Enthusiastic, keen and willing to learn.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills must be able to interact and collaborate effectively with personnel in various roles across the business and work as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Technical knowledge of engineering or blowers, vacuum pumps and compressors is a plus but not essential.
- Good computer literacy is essential with knowledge of Microsoft Office suites.
- Minimum GCSE's in maths and English.
