Residential Childcare Worker

Location:
Redruth, Cornwall

Salary:
£13 - £13.5 per hour

Hours:
Full-time including evenings, weekends, and one waking night shift per week

Overview:
Looking for a Residential Childcare Worker to positively impact the lives of young individuals. Responsibilities include assisting them with appointments, engaging in activities, managing household tasks, and documentation.

Shift Examples:
- 9am to 9pm
- 7.30am to 8.30pm
- 2pm to 9pm
- 1pm to 11pm (sleep on-site, 7am to 10am)
- 8am to 10pm (sleep on-site, 6am to 8.30am)

Skills:
Experience with vulnerable youth, complex behaviors, youth offending, safeguarding, flexibility in shifts, and traits like resilience, determination, and empathy are necessary.
