About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care Ltd in Guildford. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence, and supporting them in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with complex needs, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders, ensuring a person-centered approach to care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalized care plans, promoting the individual's autonomy and well-being.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, adhering to Voyage Care Ltd's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs, preferably in a supported living or residential setting.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins, to meet the needs of service users.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Resilience, flexibility, and a composed approach to challenging situations.
  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
