Technical Art Director

As the Technical Art Director, you will be responsible for leading the art team and ensuring that all aspects of the game's visual aesthetics are delivered at the highest quality possible.
You will be collaborating with the game design team and providing technical guidance on new art features, as well as developing innovative solutions to improve the overall visual quality and performance of the game.

Direct and manage the art team, ensuring the game's visual aesthetic is consistently delivered at a high standardnWork collaboratively with the game design team to provide technical guidance on new art featuresnManage the development process of 3D assets, including concept art, modeling, texturing, and rigging, as well as their integration into the game enginenDevelop and implement innovative solutions to improve the game's overall visual quality and performancenCreate technical documentation that outlines the art team's processes and workflowsnKeep up-to-date with the latest tools, software, and techniques related to art production and share your knowledge with the teamnConduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to help each team member improve
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in game development, including at least 2 years in a leadership rolenExpert knowledge in 3D modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and riggingnExperience with Zbrush, Maya, Unreal Engine, Blender, Cinema 4D, Substance painternUnderstanding of Web3nExperience in the game development process, including working knowledge of game engines such as Unity or UnrealnKnowledgeable in optimization techniques to ensure high-quality graphics performancenStrong organizational, communication, and project management skillsnAbility to work in a deadline-driven, collaborative environmentnExperience managing teams of artistsnOutstanding written and verbal communicationnStrong attention to detail
