Sense Scotland is looking for
2 full time Support Practitioners, within our housing support services in
Cruden Bay,
Aberdeenshire.

Your new role as a support practitioner will be to support a gentleman within his own home. You will support with day to day needs such as personal care, medication, activities and general housework.


This role within our housing support service offers
37 hours per week working a
12hour shift pattern on a 2:1 basis.

There is a well-established friendly team in place and we are looking for you to become a key player.

This would be a great role for you if you:

  • Have genuine passion to make a difference in the life of someone with additional support needs.
  • Have a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for the work we deliver.
  • Ability to adapt to working with people with complex needs and enthusiasm to take part in social activities, arts and hobbies the people we support enjoy.
  • Are flexible and available to work a variety of shifts any day of the week including weekends
  • Motivated and confident working in a personcentred way to ensure consistent support for each individual.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Can work to strict processes and company policies and procedures
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations should they arise.
  • Can bring a sense of fun, positivity and fulfilment to the role.
  • Hold a UK driving licence
