About the Job:

Are you an expert in Cloud Infrastructure? An established FinTech software company is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Lead to join their team. The company is currently going through a digital transformation focused on AI, Automation, and Chat GPT.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of blending traditional infrastructure with the innovative possibilities of AI and automation. This is a hands-on leadership position where 75% of your time will be dedicated to design and engineering, while the remaining 25% will involve documentation, leadership, and ensuring the team follows best practices.

As the Cloud Infrastructure Lead, you'll be hands-on, solving technical challenges, driving the team's growth, and providing visionary leadership as the company explores the potential of automation. The company is open to change and improvement, encouraging the identification of opportunities for automation to boost productivity and minimize repetitive tasks.

Role Description:

  • Work closely with the Head of Infrastructure to design and implement new technical solutions.
  • Advocate for reusable architectural designs and industry best practices.
  • Tackle complex infrastructure issues, collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Implement processes to maximize uptime and streamline service delivery for physical and cloud-based workloads.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and promoting best practices.

Skills / Qualifications Required:

  • Expertise in Office 365 and Azure services.
  • Experience with infrastructure in a DevOps environment.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Previous work with Palo Alto and Meraki networking technologies.
