An exciting opportunity is available for a Paediatric Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team at North Manchester General Hospital Emergency Department.
Trainee practitioners will be supported with fully funded training to obtain your MSc in Advanced Practice. We are keen to appoint a trainee advanced practitioner with previous Paediatric Emergency Department experience and clinical skills wishing to progress their career in Emergency Care.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be provided with a robust induction and personal development plan to meet their professional development needs whilst working closely with the ACP and Consultant Body.
The successful candidate will be based in the Paediatric Emergency Department at North Manchester General Hospital caring for children upto the age of 16. You will be working across the department caring for children presenting with minor injury or illness to those acutely unwell requiring intensive treatment.
This role will be pivotal in providing clinical expertise in the delivery of the future models of care for greater Manchester.
For Trainee candidates, on completion of the ACP training, the post will progress from Band 7 to Band 8a.
