Role Overview:

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on

  • Ensure welding quality is maintained at all times
  • Completing positional MIG/TIG and MMA welds on carbon and stainless steel pipework and pressure vessels
  • Working from standard operating procedures, engineering drawings and to weld procedures
  • Marking out, plasma cutting, oxyacetylene cutting, burning, grinding and drilling as required
  • Meeting target efficiency and completing daily work plans, including operational bookings, as required

Your previous experience is likely to include.

  • Working within a production environment
  • Welding experience on MIG/TIG and MMA processes on both carbon and stainless steel
  • Plasma cutting
  • Reading and working from engineering drawings
  • An understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) practices
