The Commercial Manager is a key role within the ENGIE IMPACT project delivery team.The team is looking for a professional responsible for the financial and contractual development and management of projects; working with the business development lead, they will develop and support the execution of bids to win new business, including due diligence of suppliers, providing analysis of best solution for contract delivery.
On award of projects, the commercial manager will closely work with the project programme manager to ensure adherence to contract conditions and the financial performance of internal and external service providers.
The commercial manager will be responsible for the management and control of project variations, which are detailed in contract conditions.
.Proven experience in developing and setting commercial contracts within industrial and commercial
You have a technical degree or work experience of 5 years + delivering contract estimation and commercial contract development.
Minimum five years of directly related Safety Program Management experienceCommercial Responsibilities:
Responsible for the control of all the legal contracts and costs involved in large-scale installation projects
Advise Project leads and monitor plans to ensure deadlines are met, projects stay within budget, and work is up to standard.
Manage all commercial and cost change aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting.Oversee pre-construct and contract development meetings to ensure successful handoff from estimating to project teams.
Set clear goals and expectations for the project team.
Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns with regard to contract conditions.
Work with procurement to ensure the best value for product and sub-contract supply.
International experience working across borders on projects
A second language (French or German) is preferred, not necessary.
Supported the development of business unit growth, providing insight based on experience.
5+ years of corporate safety experience with exceptional judgment and strong interpersonal skills to be confident, comfortable, and effective in dealing with global employees, senior management, and executive team driving consensus and results.
