Injection Moulding Technician (SETTER) Opportunity

This role is based in Stockton On Tees

THE BUSINESS

Our client is a leading provider of high-quality injection moulding solutions. They are dedicated to innovation, quality, and efficiency, catering to a wide range of industries.

THE ROLE

  • Machine Setup: Prepare and set up injection moulding machines, moulds, and auxiliary equipment following established guidelines and production schedules.
  • Process Optimisation: Monitor and adjust machine parameters like temperature, pressure, and cycle times to ensure top product quality and production efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect parts visually to guarantee they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments during production for quality maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues concerning moulds, machines, and production processes to minimize downtime and uphold production flow.
  • Documentation: Keep precise records of production and machine maintenance activities, along with any process or material changes.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Training: Support in training and guiding junior machine operators and setters as required.

THE PERSON + ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience: 2 years of experience as an Injection Moulding Setter in a manufacturing setting, including working with diverse materials.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Quality Focus: Strong dedication to delivering top-notch products with attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to recognize and resolve technical and process-related challenges.
