Electronics Manufacturing EngineernPosition Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the optimization of manufacturing processes for electronic components, software and test equipment.

This position requires a strong background in electronics, manufacturing processes, and quality control. This role will be responsible for a team of technicians to support the manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
nLeadershipnResponsible for Technician team who will control PCB analysis, tester hardware and tester software deployment across Manufacturing

nProcess Development:


nSupport the electronic manufacturing processes for new and existing products.nEnsure Engineering Change control is observed for software deployment and revisions, with tasks completed to ensure smooth integration.nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes into production, following NPI process.


nQuality Assurance:
nInvestigate and through the team resolve any tester / software / electronic hardware manufacturing-related issues affecting product quality or throughput

nContinuous Improvement:


nIdentify areas for process improvement and cost reduction, including use of automation.nImplement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and productivity.nLead deployment of Shop Floor data capture technologies.


nCollaboration:


nWork closely with design and R&D teams to provide input on design for assembly (DFM) in electronic design.nGather data from measurement or test systems to determine process performance, and feedback to design teams.nCollaborate with suppliers to optimize materials and components for electronic assembly.


nDocumentation:
nCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for manufacturing processes, including work instructions and Job Breakdown sheets.

Equipment Selection, Maintenance and Calibration:
nEvaluate, select, and implement new manufacturing equipment.nUsing technician team, control maintenance plans and calibration for test equipment.

nTraining:
nTrain production personnel on new processes and technologies.nProvide ongoing support to manufacturing teams to ensure adherence to established processes.

nRegulatory Compliance:


nEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulations.nStay updated on industry trends and advancements to incorporate best practices into manufacturing processes.nAct as security champion and address Operations security risks in relation to test equipment.


Qualifications:

nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.nProven experience in electronics manufacturing, process development, and quality control.nStrong knowledge of PCB assembly, SMT, and other electronic manufacturing processes.nFamiliarity with CAD software and design tools.nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.nEffective communication and collaboration skills.nKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.nIPC610 / IPC620 certification is desirable.
