The RNLI College in Poole are looking for full-time Day Porter to join our busy and thriving team.


The RNLI College is the home of RNLI training, where willing lifeboat volunteers from across the UK and Ireland are trained to become able crew members.

It's also a 60 bedroom hotel, conference venue, wedding venue and event venue like no other.

The Role:
37.5 Hours per week

Shifts: 5 over 7

Rate of Pay £11.67 per hour

Job Summary:


Join our team as a Day Porter in a bustling environment where you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and providing exceptional service to our clients.

This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

Duties:

  • Checking Coffee/Vending Machines across site are stocked and cleaned
  • Cash Handling
  • Meeting & Greeting External Guests
  • Delivering Teas, Coffee & Food to function rooms
  • Delivering parcels across site
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Perform cleaning duties to ensure the premises are tidy and presentable
  • Assist with setting up meeting rooms and event spaces
  • Handle waste disposal and recycling tasks
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver topnotch customer service
  • Stock Control

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in English for effective communication
  • Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
  • Full Time, Permanent employment
