Job Purpose :
Responsible for overseeing the Company's production Operations, ensuring targets are met within the specified timeframes. Whilst also maintaining excellent levels of quality. Supporting the demand of production in a busy and fast paced production environment.

Overall Job Purpose:

Main Objectives/Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for a team of workers, whilst conducting relevant direct duties.
  • Ensure the smooth daily running of the site.
  • Responsible for the equipment in its entirety within the department and associated processes.
  • Work to manufacturing programme, monitoring productivity and ensuring targets are met.
  • Provide support in allocation of labour in order to meet manufacturing programme.
  • Monitor and maintain all quality controls and daily workflow.
  • Enforce and verify standard operating procedures (SOP's) are being followed.
  • Oversees accurate records of daily activities are maintained.
  • Performs inventory control and order selecting.
  • Collaborates with the Site Supervisor/Manager to ensure timely resolutions of issues resulting from plan deviations.
  • Ensures that quality of work meet quality standards and raises inconsistencies to the Site Supervisor/Manager.
  • Assists the team as needed without compromising primary responsibilities.
  • Conducts investigations.
  • Ensure that H & S requirements are met.
  • Ensure all work areas are cleaned and maintained to Company standard.

  • Demonstrable IT Skills.
  • Team Leading Qualifications/Experience.
  • Knowledge of MRP systems.
  • Educated to a high standard in English and Mathematics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.

  • Work experience within a manufacturing organisation in the role of Foreperson/Team Leader.
