**Start Date in Position**:
**Salary: £11.27 per hour**

**The Job Holder Covers For (holiday etc)**:
**Job Purpose **:Responsible for overseeing the Company’s production Operations, ensuring targets are met within the specified timeframes. Whilst also maintaining excellent levels of quality. Supporting the demand of production in a busy and fast paced production environment.

**1.** **Overall Job Purpose**:
**1.1** **Main Objectives/Responsibilities**
- Take responsibility for a team of workers, whilst conducting relevant direct duties.
- Ensure the smooth daily running of the site.
- Responsible for the equipment in its entirety within the department and associated processes.
- Work to manufacturing programme, monitoring productivity and ensuring targets are met.
- Provide support in allocation of labour in order to meet manufacturing programme.
- Monitor and maintain all quality controls and daily workflow.
- Enforce and verify standard operating procedures (SOP’s) are being followed.
- Oversees accurate records of daily activities are maintained.
- Performs inventory control and order selecting.
- Collaborates with the Site Supervisor/Manager to ensure timely resolutions of issues resulting from plan deviations.
- Ensures that quality of work meet quality standards and raises inconsistencies to the Site Supervisor/Manager.
- Assists the team as needed without compromising primary responsibilities.
- Conducts investigations.
- Ensure that H & S requirements are met.
- Ensure all work areas are cleaned and maintained to Company standard.

**2.** **Required qualifications**:

- **Qualifications**:_
- Demonstrable IT Skills.
- Team Leading Qualifications/Experience.
- Knowledge of MRP systems.
- Educated to a high standard in English and Mathematics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.

**3.** **Job Experience/Additional Skills**:

- **Required**:_
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and meet set KPI’s/targets
- Work experience within a manufacturing organisation in the role of Foreperson/Team Leader.
- Positive attitude to work.
- Be open to flexible working patterns.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Excellent organisational skills.

**Salary**: £11.27 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Supervising: 2 years (preferred)
