Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute timber framing and carpentry tasks according to project specifications and plans.
  • Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools necessary for timber framing and carpentry work.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects, both onsite and in the workshop.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during construction or assembly processes.
  • Assist in the assembly and installation of timber frames, including roof systems, wall panels, and structural components.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 certification in Carpentry or equivalent proof of extensive site experience.
  • Proven experience in timber framing and carpentry, with a strong understanding of construction techniques and practices.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks requiring manual labor and lifting.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.

Salary:
£10.00-£17.00 per hour
