Timber Framer or Carpenter

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute timber framing and carpentry tasks according to project specifications and plans.
- Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools necessary for timber framing and carpentry work.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects, both on-site and in the workshop.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during construction or assembly processes.
- Assist in the assembly and installation of timber frames, including roof systems, wall panels, and structural components.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 certification in Carpentry or equivalent proof of extensive site experience.
- Proven experience in timber framing and carpentry, with a strong understanding of construction techniques and practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks requiring manual labor and lifting.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to various job sites.

**Salary**: £10.00-£17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
