Job Overview:

  • This role is to work for both Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare (HRCH) and Kingston Hospital (KHFT). A key early task will be the development of a top-notch digital strategy, a clear roadmap for the next 5 - 10 years to unlock the full potential of merger and integrated ways of working, aiding in the journey towards modern and sustainable healthcare. This includes working across the health system in innovative ways and enhancing patient care and wellbeing.

Main Duties of the Job:

  • Looking for a strategic thinker excited about digital solutions, pragmatic and able to build a function within the organization for innovation.

Accountable to the Chief Executive, responsible for overall delivery of digital capabilities, leading the digital transformation to meet organizational objectives and realize benefits.

Responsible for providing strategic IT leadership, advice to the Executive Team, and managing digital, informatics, and information governance teams.

Person Specification:

  • Masters or postgraduate degree in an IT, project, or programme specialism.
  • Demonstrable track record of successful change management and leadership.
  • Significant experience at or near director level in a complex organization.
  • Experience in developing and implementing IM&T strategies for transformation.
  • Experience of supplier and contract management in a multi-vendor environment.
  • Strong desire to improve performance and make a difference.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to make autonomous decisions on difficult issues within tight timescales.
  • Ability to introduce new working methods despite potential resistance.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to improve performance and make a difference.
