Job Summary:
Carry out various aspects of roller blind production efficiently and inline with high quality standards.
Working Hours
Monday-Friday 8am to 4.30pm with a 30 minute lunch break and 10 minutes break in morning and afternoon.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Arrive in good time for the start of shift and stick to set break and finish times.
- Carry out various roles with the production process of roller blinds. Including;
- Cutting of aluminium profiles to correct length
- Cutting of roller blinds fabric to correct size
- Assembling the tube, covers & other various components
- packaging of product
- Working in a fastpaced environment to ensure targets are met regarding quality and efficiency.
- Be aware of and respect work schedules and programs ensuring required dispatch dates are met.
- Cross train across all areas in the manufacturing process to gain excellent knowledge.
- Wearing of appropriate PPE (safety shoes, goggles, hearing protection, hi vis, masks etc) as necessary.
- Following all health and safety procedures implemented throughout the workplace.
- Assembling small components together requiring patience and a positive cando attitude
- Ability to work between 214hrs overtime per week during busy periods.
- 2 hours overtime per day
- 4 hours overtime on saturday
- Or any other reasonable duties within your skills and capabilities as directed by your manager
Subsidiary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Deputise for Production team leader
- Attend necessary training and company meetings
