Description


To carry out the day-to-day HR tasks of the College and assist the HR Team in their duties in order to provide a high-quality service.


  • Support with the processing of new starters, issuing log in details and ensuring staff records are up to date.
  • Assist with the induction programme for new staff, taking part in the new starter induction days; distributing and collating induction documentation for new starters and managers.
  • Assist with the appraisal process; setting up new appraisals on the HR database, sending appraisal reminders to managers, reporting on incomplete appraisals.
  • Advertising: Place adverts on the relevant job boards and Sixth Form websites.
  • Ensure accurate and timely inputting of data on the HR system including new starters, leavers, amenders, maternity, paternity, absence and CPD/training records.
  • Supporting and contributing to other administrative functions in the Sixth Form
  • Supporting all aspects of Child Protection and Safeguarding.
  • Undertake other tasks as required by the Deputy Principal or Executive Principal, after due consultation.
Entry requirements

5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

Training to be provided

This apprenticeship is delivered as a day release on a weekly basis.
