Click here for more information about this location What you'll be doing You'll be responsible for the daily opening of the hall and museum, ensuring a consistently excellent service for our visitors.
Working as a team of Collection Assistants, you'll be responsible for completing conservation routines and annual deep cleaningprogrammes within the hall and museum, ensuring excellent standards of care, and delivering strategies to improve conservation.
You'll support the continued development and delivery of the Children's Country House and enjoy sharing stories about our collections to children.
You'll collect and record information during housekeeping cleaning routines to inform our understanding ofthe collection using preventive conservation techniques to improve how we conserve, interpret, and present the property.

Who we're looking for We'd love to hear from you if you have;
- A keen interest in history, historic properties and conservation of their collections
- A good understanding of preventive conservation
- Knowledge of the approach required when working with fragile historic collections as well as Health & Safety and emergency procedures
- Good manual dexterity and eyetohand skills and ability to work from ladders and tower scaffold
- The ability to support volunteers to perform at their best
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and are a great team player
- A willingness to undertake continuing professional development and personal skills development and have an enthusiasm to learn
