We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Urgent Community Response (UCR) and Hospital at Home Virtual Ward (VW) team based in Redcar Primary Care Hospital.


This post is responsible for the administration required to support the UCR Clinical Lead with tasks such as filing, ordering of equipment, stock management, preparation of paperwork for all new starters, basic roster management and note taking in team meetings plus other service demands as deemed appropriate for the role.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the passion to help forge a brand new service in the Community.


South Tees Hospitals is the largest hospital trust in the Tees Valley with two acute hospitals and services in a number of community hospitals.


The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough is a designated major trauma centre and provides all its specialties from one site which is unique for a hospital of its size.

It provides a wide range of district general hospital services and specialist services such as neurosciences, renal medicine, spinal injuries, major trauma, cardiothoracics, vascular surgery and cancer services.

This post also provides some general clerical support such as
- photocopying,
- typing
- taking / receiving and relaying messages,
- answering telephone queries,

  • Liaising with all clinical staff


South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust; this training programme has been designed to support our leaders in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills.

You will be expected to attend the New and Aspiring leaders programme, and the Foundation Quality Improvement Programme that the Trust delivers.

After you complete this one and a half day of training you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities, we offer further in-house courses and bitesize programmes and leadership apprenticeships at level 3,5 and 7.
