In this field-based role, you will support multiple care homes across the East of England, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to our residents. You will play a key role in promoting the dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing of those in our care.

We are a leading not-for-profit care provider in the UK. We deliver exceptional* 24-hour residential, dementia and nursing care to older people across our 28 care homes in England.

Key Responsibilities for the role:
Deliver person-centered care in accordance with each resident's care plan. Support the shift team to ensure efficient operation and a positive atmosphere within the home. Collaborate with senior team members to maintain high standards of care. Accurately record and communicate information as per the home's procedures. Maintain confidentiality while managing residents' records and providing written/verbal reports. Assist residents with personal care needs and respond to call bells and emergency situations. Care for residents who are unwell or in their final stages of life with compassion. Promote mental and physical activities by engaging residents in various hobbies and outings. Participate in staff meetings, training, supervision, and development activities. Ensure the security of residents and the building, adhering to policies and procedures.Skills and experience needed to succeed in this role:
Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) diploma in care level 2 or the equivalent Good record Keeping An understanding of the needs of residents Experience of providing care within a care home setting Practical experience of moving and assisting residents including the use of equipment such as hoists, stand aids and other lifting equipment. Experience of working with older adults An understanding of risk and positive risk taking and of how to report and record concerns around inappropriate risks or resident concerns. Able to provide personal care in a dignified manner. Able to carry out basic cleaning duties. Strong communication skills and organizational skillsWhy work for us:
