Job summary:


This role sits within the Operations Production Engineering and Data Governance Group, which is home to a multi-disciplinary team of specialists in Data Governance, Marine Data Standards, Technical Authoring, Technical Training, Change Delivery and Leaders all of whom are focused on establishing robust and quality methods for delivering ADMIRALTY Products and Data Services to both our Defence and Commercial Customers.


The primary objective of the role is to ensure the development of technical standards, tools and processes used in the Production Flowline remain optimal based on the organisation's current and future requirements.


Post holders are considered to be the organisation's Subject Matter Experts in the cartographic and technical standards used within the production flowline.


This team is flexible with where they work but come into the office as required to meet as a team/meet business needs.


Job description:

The post holder will:

  • Contribute to the internal and external development of technical standards and tools used across the Production Flowline particularly the emerging S100 standards.
  • Liaise with Subject Matter Experts and managers from across the production flowline to ensure technical standards are being employed and developed to meet current and future requirements.
  • Maintain a broad understanding of end to end processes within the production flowline so as to advise on change, training and the implementation of new standards.
  • Create, manage and develop documentation and resources to support new and existing processes including process mapping, documentation and training materials.
