Our client a global moving and relocation firm is looking to appoint a Regional Operations Manager to take on a senior role within their Moving services department.

The function of the Regional Operations Manager will be to design systems, procedures, and governance that guarantee the quality of the moving service delivery.

The Regional Operations Manager will find and lead international projects that raise the moving service's worldwide standards for quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Expert knowledge of global household goods moving services, systems, methods, processes and procedures.
  • Serve as the lead for moving activities for business transformation, including pricing and technological systems.
  • Keep track of all international moving operations around the world, seeking opportunities to boost quality and profitability while fostering process excellence.
  • Responsible for the customer experience feedback system, related reporting, and activities to raise satisfaction levels.
  • Monitor system and operational adherence to internal and external regulations, such as FIDI, ISO, and GDPR.
  • Choosing, developing, and delivering Move Training via webinars, Pulse, and Intranet to users worldwide.
  • Ensuring business requirements for the moving service's technological systems are prioritised.
  • Provide operational insight through data generation, analysis, KPI formulation, and reporting.
  • Assist global leadership in planning and managing meetings, agendas, communications, etc. relating to global moving services.
  • Manage important move stakeholders across the international business network and functional areas of the business, including local end users, leadership at the regional and board levels, and external suppliers and providers.

Requirements:

  • Years of expert knowledge in the household goods moving sector
  • Extensive history of providing relocation services globally.
  • Leadership and management experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of operational principles governing moving services.
  • Able to deliver training to staff, and support business change management strategies.
  • Encourages excellence in processes.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques.
  • Strong financial skills.
  • Effective crossdiscipline communication abilities in stakeholder management.
  • Sound IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
