We are looking for a Stock Controller

Salary:
£24,856 per annum

Location:
London

Hours: 40hrs per week (Monday to Friday)

Purpose


We are looking for a Stock Controller at our Kennington Site to help us improve the ordering and management of our spare parts inventory to ensure a high degree of accuracy and control.

Goals and Objectives:

  • Accurately ordering spare parts in line with requirements and systems recommendations, ensuring orders are placed with suppliers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Expediting spare parts orders and keeping the business updated on any delays or issues effecting supply.
  • Ensuring parts are received and booked in accurately and any discrepancies recorded and reported in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining an orderly and accurate store to ensure parts can be located quickly and that accurate stock holdings are maintained.
  • Investigating stock discrepancies, reporting findings to the Workshop Manager, Financial Controller and Director of Corporate Sales & Services.
  • Managing Nikon Spare Parts sales from request through to picking to ensure accurate and timely supply of parts.
  • Completing perpetual inventory counts to ensure physical accuracy of spare stock is always maintained.
  • Helping to develop and to improve the IT system.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a stock control and stores role, preferably on ERP Systems.
  • Knowledge of IT development and IT languages.
  • Ability to work in a methodical, organised and tidy manner.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A cheerful and positive disposition, resilience and patience when dealing with difficult situations.
  • A high degree of PC literacy including MS Office
  • Good organisational skills and highly selfmotivated with the ability to cope and work under pressure.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and listening skills.
  • Ability to concentrate on detail in a very busy environment with the possibility of constant interruptions.
